How long on the back foot will we remain ?

Telephone scams cost the UK economy £11 billion every year — in 4 years its the same amount the Chancellor is now trying to recover through tax hikes and spending cuts.Yet this is money we could reclaim in just four years, if we made the right kind of investment — in Artificial Intelligence that protects citizens, not just balances books.  My attempt in this article is not to blame the political parties or take sides despite my own political views and values. My anger this time is with the British Public for not taking decisive action and taking the solution of this problem in our hands. The tech is available we just need the will.  This isn’t a technical issue. It’s a moral one.For how long must British families be left to defend themselves alone — one scam call, one fraud attempt, one heartbreak at a time? All that’s left is shattered confidence seeking redmeption on helplines.  Why can’t we be proactive? Why can’t we take the fight to the scammers, instead of waiting for victims to come forward? — Every year, thousands of people in the UK fall prey to phone-based scams — fake bank alerts, HMRC imposters, false investment calls, and even romance fraud. And behind each statistic is a person: a pensioner who lost their savings, a young adult defrauded online, a small business crippled by a data breach. We call this a “cost to the economy.”But it’s far more than that. It’s a **cost to confidence** — in technology, in institutions, and in each other. —We live in a time when Artificial Intelligence can drive cars, diagnose illnesses, and write code.So why can’t we use it to stop scam calls before they even reach our phones? We can.We have the technology. What’s missing is the **will to act.** — AI can authenticate callers, filter fraud attempts, and detect patterns across networks in real time. It can learn, adapt, and protect — faster than any human-led investigation could. But to do that, it needs national coordination — not just a patchwork of telecom rules and awareness posters. We need a **unified digital defense strategy** that treats scam prevention the same way we treat national security — because in today’s world, **it is national security**. — The question now is not whether we can stop scams. It’s whether we will. Because technology will always serve the side that uses it best. The scammers have already automated their attacks. It’s time Britain automated its decentralized defence as that is the only solution against centralization of intelligence in the hands of any one human for any amount of us. So I ask again — what is our stance?Which side of history are we on? Do we continue to let billions slip through the cracks while citizens fight alone?Or do we lead the world in using AI to restore trust, protect families and take back control of our communication networks? The answer will define not just our economy — but our legacy.Because the next great revolution isn’t about money.

It’s about protection, privacy, and progress and that is what we stand for at

Please act now and lets beat this silent epidemic of society together even if that means saving 1 life or 1 family even then its worth fighting for with everything we got. That’s what it means to be British and I am proud to be British.
