Building a Safer Digital Britain: Highlights from the Conservative Party Conference 2025

A Vision for Responsible AI in Britain

By Deep Julka, Founder of WEBAIE

At the Conservative Party Conference 2025 (CPC25), WebAIE proudly joined MPs and policymakers to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in safeguarding citizens and strengthening digital trust.

Our founder met with Rt Hon Jack Rankin, MP for Windsor, and Cllr Rana, Deputy Mayor of Slough, to explore how AI can be built to serve people — not systems. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to making AI a tool for protection, transparency, and empowerment across the UK.

The Digital Challenge: Protecting Citizens from Fraud

Fraud costs UK taxpayers an estimated £200 billion each year, disproportionately impacting small businesses and the elderly. As cyber threats grow, so must our defences.

At WebAIE, we believe AI should act as a shield, not a trap using machine learning and human oversight to detect fraud, safeguard personal data, and rebuild public trust in digital systems.

Collaboration for Safer, Smarter AI

In an inspiring exchange with Matthew Barber, Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, we explored opportunities to align AI innovation with governance and community-led oversight.

This collaborative effort aims to:

  • Strengthen AI accountability and transparency
  • Protect SMEs and vulnerable populations
  • Embed ethics and safety into the digital fabric of our society

Our shared mission: make digital safety a basic right, not a privilege.

Proudly 100% British

As a 100% British-owned and built company, WebAIE is committed to ensuring that the UK remains at the forefront of ethical and consumer-first AI development.

Our technology is designed to empower — not exploit. From local governance to enterprise security, we’re building AI that listens, learns, and protects.

Looking Ahead

CPC25 reaffirmed what we stand for: responsibility, innovation, and integrity in every algorithm we create.

WebAIE will continue to collaborate with policymakers, businesses, and communities to shape a future where AI serves citizens — not systems.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our vision for a safer digital Britain.
